  1. Where does the data come from? Breeze Intelligence combines data from public sources, third-party vendors, and across the Internet to create the most comprehensive and enriched profiles for contacts and companies in your account. HubSpot recently acquired Clearbit—a best-in-class B2B database—that’s become the engine behind Breeze Intelligence.
  2. What data does HubSpot collect and save from accounts that use Breeze Intelligence? HubSpot collects various data types, including:
    • Buyer Intent: Company domain, online identifiers (including VIDs and IP addresses), timestamp of the website visit, and URL path for the visit.
    • Contact Enrichment: Business email addresses submitted for enrichment.
    • Company Enrichment: Company domain names submitted for enrichment.
    • Form Shortening: HubSpot does not collect or save data from your use of form shortening.
  3. How accurate is the Breeze Intelligence data? Breeze Intelligence weighs and scores its data sources to ensure reliability. Whenever a record (company or contact) is created, the data undergoes regular checks for accuracy and freshness. A quality assurance team made up of human specialists also reviews the data for consistency and accuracy.
  4. What are the restrictions on using enriched data to know about? When using enriched data, you must comply with HubSpot’s Terms of Service, including legal obligations for collecting, using, and sharing personal data.
  5. What happens if a contact requests removal from the Breeze Intelligence commercial dataset? For managing data requests like when a contact wants their data deleted from the dataset, they will receive a property label “enrichment opt-out” in your HubSpot CRM. HubSpot super admins will be notified of the request.

How Much Does Breeze Intelligence Cost?

Breeze Intelligence operates on a credit-based system, which allows you to purchase and use credits for its features.

HubSpot Breeze Intelligence Pricing

It’s an enhancement available with all of HubSpot’s Hubs and tiers.

Note: You must have at least one HubSpot Hub to add this enhancement.

Here's an easy breakdown of how it works:

  • Credit Tiers: Breeze Intelligence credits can only be used for Breeze Intelligence features. Different credit tiers are available (see above), and you can find additional details in the HubSpot Product & Services Catalog.
  • Usage Audit and Period:
    • Usage Audit: Check the total number of credits you have and how many you've used in your current period.
    • Usage Period: Aligned with your monthly subscription start date.
    • Subscription Start Date: Your credits reset monthly on this date. For example, if you purchase 1,000 credits on August 1 and use 500 by August 15, you will have 500 remaining for the month. On September 1, your credits reset to 1,000, regardless of usage.
  • Managing Your Credits:
    • To view your credit usage, navigate to Settings > Enrichment > Credit Usage in your HubSpot account.
    • Purchase credits manually by clicking Get Credits in the same settings section.
  • Automatic Credit Tier Upgrades: If you exceed your monthly credits, you will automatically be upgraded to the next credit tier. For instance, if you use 301 credits while having a 300 credit tier, you will be upgraded to a 400 credit tier immediately for the remainder of your contract, with prorated charges applied the next day.
  • Purchasing Additional Credits: You can upgrade your current plan to purchase more credits or increase your current tier. Additional credits can be used immediately after purchase.
  • Canceling or Downgrading Credits: You can only cancel or downgrade at the end of your contractual commitment term.
  • Usage Notifications: Billing contacts and super admins will receive notifications when they reach 75%, 85%, and 90% of their credit tier. If you exceed your monthly credits, you will be notified of your automatic upgrade via email and in-app notifications.
